Based upon the principles demonstrated with the Tengion Neo-Bladder Augment™, Tengion is developing Tengion Neo-Vessel Replacement™ product candidates.
Tengion Neo-Vessel Replacement is being developed with the goal of using a patient's own cells to build blood vessels for patients that need vascular access for dialysis and for patients who are receiving peripheral by-pass surgery or coronary artery bypass surgery.
The Tengion Neo-Vessel Replacement program is not yet in clinical development and is not commercially available.
