EAST NORRITON, PA, January 06, 2009—Tengion Inc., a clinical -stage organ regeneration company with products in urologic, vascular, and renal regeneration, today announced that Steven Nichtberger, M.D., president and chief executive officer, is scheduled to present at the 27th Annual JP Morgan Healthcare Conference on Monday, January 12, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. PST. The conference will be held January 12 - 15 at The Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco.
For the first time, Dr. Nichtberger will discuss Tengion’s completion of its Phase 2 clinical trial in patients with neurogenic bladder due to spina bifida and the company’s plans for a Phase 3 trial of its Tengion Neo-Bladder Augment® in patients with neurogenic bladder, planned for initiation in the first half of 2009. Dr. Nichtberger will also present breakthrough preclinical data from Tengion’s renal program.
